Paris..Fashion week - S/S 2010.. Alexander McQueen
The room darkened, the lights went on and with a model swimming (drowning) on the screen, people were about to see the unexpected..We were about to witness something completely out of this world , actually it was more AREA 51, than Parisian chic. Only Mr.McQueen could send models down the runway in 'those' killer heels, at 12 inches the moulded platform shoes were an instant hit with , well everyone. With SC-FI hair and alien make-up the show was out of this world. Each dress was made with the most delicate and fabulous detailing, and mostly only featuring snake skin.
Alexander McQueen has to be my(our) all time favourite designer , his creativity is unbelievable and people cant stop crediting this designer enough (except for PETA).
I cant wait to see more of the shoes and dresses on the red carpet , and hopefully not only on Lady Gaga and Daphne Guinness.
As im a big fan of H&M, i shall keep praying that they could do a collaboration with this master ! keep praying..
